Resaido is an AI-powered compliance recording platform for licensed real estate agents in New Zealand. The service transcribes, organises, and analyses your client communications, flags potential compliance risk against the Real Estate Agents Act 2008, and generates timestamped interaction reports.
By creating an account or using any part of the Resaido platform, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Resaido on behalf of an agency or firm, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Resaido is designed for, and may only be used by, individuals who hold a current licence issued by the Real Estate Authority (REA) of New Zealand, or by agency principals and managers responsible for licensed staff.
By creating an account, you confirm that you hold, or directly supervise those who hold, a current REA licence. We may require you to verify your licence at any time.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your login with others — each agent should have their own account. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at support@resaido.com.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by any team members you have granted access.
You may use Resaido only for lawful professional purposes consistent with your obligations as a licensed real estate agent. You must not:
Recording responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring your use of Resaido complies with NZ law and your professional obligations. One-party consent permits recording under the Crimes Act 1961, but we recommend notifying clients as best practice under the Privacy Act 2020.
You own your data. The communication records, transcripts, notes, and exported reports you create through Resaido belong to you. We do not claim ownership of any content you submit.
By using Resaido, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your data solely for the purpose of delivering the service — including transcription, risk analysis, storage, and report generation. This licence ends when you delete your data or close your account.
We will never sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
Important: Resaido is a compliance documentation tool, not a legal service. Nothing in the platform — including risk flags, compliance indicators, or interaction reports — constitutes legal advice. AI-generated flags are informational only and should not be relied upon as a definitive determination of whether a breach has occurred.
If you receive an REA complaint or are subject to an investigation, you should seek independent legal advice. Resaido can provide your interaction record as an evidence trail, but cannot advise you on how to respond to regulatory proceedings.
Resaido is offered on a subscription basis. Pricing, plan features, and billing cycles are set out on our pricing page. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST unless stated otherwise.
Early access participants receive free access for 7 days. No credit card is required during the early access period.
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with prior notice and will aim to minimise downtime outside business hours (NZST).
We are not liable for losses arising from service unavailability, provided we have taken reasonable steps to communicate planned outages in advance.
The Resaido platform, its AI models, risk-detection logic, interface design, and brand elements are owned by Resaido Ltd and protected by New Zealand and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our written consent.
Feedback you provide about the service may be used by us to improve the platform without obligation or compensation to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Resaido's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses — including loss of profit, loss of data, or damage to reputation — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or if we are required to do so by law.
On termination, your data is retained for 60 days to allow export, then permanently deleted. We will notify you before deletion occurs.
Clauses that by their nature survive termination (including Sections 5, 6, 9, and 10) will continue to apply after your account is closed.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute arising from your use of Resaido will first be referred to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 20 business days, either party may refer the dispute to the New Zealand Disputes Tribunal (for claims within its jurisdiction) or to the courts of New Zealand.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of Resaido after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
